You love sailing and look for an opportunity to join a group of like minded folks? Just got your boating papers and want to gain experience and collect miles? You don’t have boating papers or not even much experience but want to learn? We the captains are happy to share our knowledge.
SAILING WITHOUT LIMITATIONS
You want to sail without the limitations many charter companies apply? Night sails, go offshore, cross over to different countries, sail in heavy weather, no problem. Alegría always comes with one of the captains but that enables you to do whatever the crew wants to. You will be sailing the boat whenever and wherever you want. We captains help as much or little as you request, we are there as crew members, advisors. The only limit is the safety of crew and boat. As we know the limits of Alegría we reserve the captain’s right to decide what can be done. Yet most likely Alegría can handle more than the average crew would dare to do, anyway. 😉
ALEGRÍA IS A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE
Alegría was built in 1984 by one of the best boatbuilders of the time, Bristol boatyards in Rhode Island, designed by two of the most prominent yacht designers, Ted Hood and Dieter Empacher. Bristols are famous for their massive construction and quality in all aspects of boat building. Alegría is all about seaworthiness. The elegant shape of her hull cuts through seas without any slamming, quite different from most modern boats. Her interiors are a prime example of top-notch joinery. With Alegría you can enjoy a different experience of sailing.
